City of Gluttony

A January 2005 trip to Las Vegas by mangocheese

Quote: I will come back to Vegas in a heartbeat. Basically, we walked, took pictures, and ate. A LOT. Ah, the high life. I can't wait to come back next time with friends and party all night long... without a whining and tired family tagging along!

Alright, so we ate here the morning after we got off the plane. Originally, I honestly didn't want to because I had hoped to go to Aladdin or something later and needed to save my appetite, but apparently my dad was starving, so whatever... it's cheap right? It was honestly not as bad as other people say. I mean it's just breakfast! And I think we went at a brunch time or something because some lunch foods came out, too. Sure, some foods looked and felt a little rubbery, but with lots of choices, most tasted pretty flavorful and were kept warm at least! I liked the layout of the place, too, nice and big. Now I will jump right into my recommendations for what you should (could) get. Yeahhh, I ate...Read More

And despite how I wasn't really hungry, I still ate tons because I just hate passing up on anything! Here are some of the foods that I liked more than others. Enjoy! Deli sandwich (good appetizer--don't eat it all, though!) Chicken noodle soup (chunky) Beef enchilada (I just love Mexican)...Read More

The three women in our family ate here for dinner on the last night before boarding plane at 12am. The food was fantastic, but if only it wasn't our last buffet! I got drawn in after seeing the sushi and crab legs that I was craving. Steamed crab legs! Ooooh, and the dining atmosphere was wonderful; they had the prettiest buffet! So I was surprised to see the food area, because it looked worse than my school cafeteria, but whatever, the food more than makes up for it. Just be sure that when you go to a buffet where you have to pay a bit more, don't eat so much beforehand! I mean, picture us with 2 days of buffets already. Of course, as always, I could not let good food go to waste, or my mom's money.....Read More
