Smuggler's Notch Resort

An October 2004 trip to Smugglers Notch by ranapierkowski

The one-bedroom unit with loft was great, with a king-sized bed in the loft with bath, and downstairs, there were two twin beds and a sleeper-sofa. It was very nice and roomy. Restaurants and shops were excellent, and the staff was pleasant. The views during foliage season were spectacular.

All in all, the resort was very nice. There is a lot to do in the area, whether you want to eat out, hike, shop, go to Montreal, ski in winter, or go to the neat pools in summer. We would go back again!

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

You definitely need a car to get there. But the scenery driving through the Notch was wonderful. You don't need to leave the resort at all, if that is the type of vacation you desire.

Best Things About the Resort:
I loved everything about this resort.

Resort Experience:
It is a resort that you don't need to leave to find everything you need. There are restaurants, shops, planned activities, and a lot to do at the resort and in the area.

The unit was very spacious, clean, and well-kept. The fireplace was nice, as well. The kitchen was full-sized and easily accommodated the six of us.
