Quote: Key West is a mile long stretch of land about 130 miles south of Miami. There's something for everyone here! Key West is famous for Ernest Hemingway who had a house on the island and for it's diverse gay community.

Sunday tea dances, cocktails by the sea, Thursday movie night... this place is ideal for anyone who likes fun. The resort is gay/lesbian and straight friendly, so everyone is welcome. It’s not really family-oriented as the main clothing-optional resort on the ocean.

Atlantic Shores has something for everyone. It is not too far from Duval Street and all the happenings of Key West. The Sunday tea party is a riot and known all over the world. When I was there, there was a TV crew from France filming it all for French TV. I really loved this place... the staff was super friendly and willing to help in any way. It is right next door to the Wyndham.

Take a relaxing, guided tour through the Straits of Florida. Our guide was very informative and patient with those in the group who couldn't seem to steer themselves correctly. Glide through the mangroves, but watch out for tree crabs, as sometimes they fall on you. We got to hold a sea cucumber and a starfish. COOL. Waterproof cameras are allowed. Make sure you wear something you don't mind getting wet. Wear sunscreen, or else you'll get burned.
