Reef Club Resort Cozumel

An August 2004 trip to Cozumel by rcisteele

This is an all-inclusive resort, with an á la carte restaurant on site, a separate member’s pool, excellent scuba/snorkeling, children’s activities, nightly entertainment/theme nights, a gorgeous beach and sunsets, and the best accommodation/staff you could wish for.

Scuba diving and snorkeling were the highlights, along with the memorable sunsets. Be sure to visit the WaveRunner beach 5km down the coast from the Reef Club. Whilst you don't need to leave the Reef Club, if you're looking for some additional sightseeing or local cuisine, visit Coconuts (up on the hill and overlooking the ocean), which is only open till dusk!!

Quick Tips:

Reef Club offers in-house discounts on local attractions, car rental, etc. All equipment, with the exception of power equipment, is free. The resort offers nightly entertainment for both the young and old, and locals visit the resort to display their arts and crafts.

Best Way To Get Around:

If you plan to travel into town on a regular basis, then a car would be best, but for the occasional journey, try a scooter. Otherwise, there are taxis always available for approximately one way when going into town.

The Reef Club offers three restaurants. There is a buffet-style restaurant offering a wide range of appetizers, salads, foods from the grill, desserts etc. In addition, there are two fine-dining restaurants, one typically serving Italian food, and the other serving local foods.

For the fine-dining restaurants, you need to dress in semi-formal/casual attire(no jeans, etc.), and reservations are always recommended.
