One can go boating at Bhimtal Lake or visit Nainital, which is just 2 hours away by bus or jeep. The lake is beautiful, and the children just love to feed the ducks at the lake. You could even have lunch or snacks while floating on the middle of the lake, which has a good restaurant. Quick Tips:

There is no need to hire a taxi to get here all the way from Delhi or from Kathgodam. There are plenty of jeeps available to share with other people and very cheap connections to Bhimtal or Nainital, which are also good. Just outside the resort are two grocery shops, where just about everything is available.

Best Way To Get Around:

The drivers of jeeps and buses are rough, so it’s better to stay as far as possible away from the main road while walking. You need to bargain with taxi chaps if you want their services.

The property is very precious and excellent, and the resort is very well-kept and maintained. We were in a one-bedroom apartment overlooking the valley with a private garden. Housekeeping did a very good job of cleaning up the apartment, and they provided a reasonably good quantity of soaps and towels. We had a microwave, which was very helpful. The gym and the swimming pool were very well-kept.

The restaurant was fabulous, with very neat decor and a great view overlooking the swimming pool area. There was a complimentary dinner by the resort for all its members on Diwali Night. The food was delicious, and the paneer butter masala was especially tasty.
