We went to see the Massive Change exhibit that is currently at the Vancouver Art Gallery. It was an interesting exhibit that was somewhat about design—but more about the what's going on in the world today and the human impact. Very interesting to see. Our trip was mainly in search of food. We went to a low-key bar in Yaletown called Section (3) that had some interesting cocktails and great booths to sit in and chat. The Indian restaurant Vij's was well worth the wait. We could barely talk to one another, we were enjoying the food so much. Hotel | "Crowne Plaza Hotel-Georgia"

The beds were very comfortable. I thought the soap they provided was a bit too fragrant, but otherwise it was a nice room. We got a great deal, since we booked it through hotwire.com. My only complaint is that parking was rather expensive ($22). The good thing is that the hotel has a small cafe called SENSES, which carries some high-end chocolates by Thomas M...I can't remember the last name. But they are supposed to be very good. The location of the hotel was great, just one block from Robson and only a few blocks from Yaletown, the waterfront, and Gastown.
