Open Markets are in a different place everyday in Melaka. They have products of a good quality and cheap fresh fruit, food, vegetables, CD's, toys, clothing, etc. You can bargain. It's a photographer’s ideal location - very colorful!

Grilled Chicken
All the food is interesting, and there are lots knick-knacks, tools, pirated CD's and DVD’s, and clothing. There are great prices on everything, and don’t forget to bargain!

Quick Tips:

They normally start around 5pm and last until 10pm.

Best Way To Get Around:

Local buses normally pass by these markets. Ask around for their location on any given day.

Tandoori Man
This is an outdoor authentic Pakistani restaurant, with tandoori chicken and naan breads. It is very cheap and very tasty! They have a friendly staff. Sit in the car park under the trees. Open 6pm to 1am, get there early before the food is sold out (every night)!

Closed on Mondays.

Go to www.pakputra.tk to see everything about it!
