The resort itself was absolutely beautiful. There was lots of construction to get ready for the high season, with a new bowling alley, casino, etc.
Rooms were stunning, and you need an ocean view to enjoy the place. The pool on the balcony was a welcome relief in the 100°F weather. The bed was comfortable, and the soaker tub was nice after a long day. There was lots of marble, inside and out, and a friendly staff.
Beware of the 90-minute presentation they offer for 15% off food and drinks. It took 8 hours, and they wouldn't take no for an answer.
