The best way to discover the national park in Killarney is actually on a walking tour. There are tours provided in the centre of Killarney, but you can also go ahead and discover the pure nature on your own since there are very good walking paths and path descriptions. There are lots of things to see: Ross Castle, the Torc Waterfall, the Ladies View, the Gap of Dunloe . . . . - the nature is really impressive! If you prefer going by car, you can actually leave the main road, and you will find yourself in the middle of the Irish countryside. The Ring of Kerry is located on the southwest coast of Ireland in Co. Kerry. It is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland. There are bus tour operators who offer a one-day experience tour of the Ring of Kerry, which I also did. I personally prefer the tour with my own car. You are much more flexible and there are so many places and hidden spots where busses never stop. Of course, they bring you to the most popular places like Killarney (see Killarney Dream), Kenmare, Dingle Bay, the Atlantic Coast, and Bog Village (an old typical Irish village where you can see how the Irish people lived 100 years ago).
