Resort Experience:
This resort was a fantastic place to stay. It is located at the entrance to Noosa Heads National park, which has lots of fantastic walks, ranging from short to longer walks for the more athletic. The resort doesn't have many units, but the units are extremely large - around 170 to 200 square meters in size. The ground floor units are larger. These units have three bedrooms and each unit is two stories high, with only a flight of stairs (not recommended for people in wheelchairs or those who have trouble walking). On the upper floor are the bedrooms, along with a bathroom and a bathroom in the master bedroom. The bedrooms are all good sizes, with two having queen-size beds and the third having two singles. Unfortunately, there is no sofa bed downstairs in the lounge, so six people is the maximum occupancy. Downstairs you have a spacious full kitchen and dinning area, as well as a huge lounge area with a free-standing bar (unfortunately, you need to provide your own alcohol), a toilet, and laundry facilities.

We were fortunate enough to have a ground floor unit, as we were frequented by the local wildlife, which included kookaburras, brush turkeys, rainbow lorikeets, and a friendly lace monitor lizard. The only downside to the resort is that there is no pool on site, but there is a fantastic (not patrolled) beach within a 2-minute walk or a patrolled beach within a 15-minute walk into Hastings Street.

The units are a little bit tired, but are getting a refit this year. We had an amazing time at this resort, which included hand-feeding the rainbow lorrikeets, which came and visited us outside our unit. The other guests watched in amazement as about 20 of them came and landed on us, eating our fruit bread and jam and toast.
