Morikomi Museum

Overview

Nice to look at.
This is an amazing Japanese garden. Inside you will find a world all of its own. It is full of amazing stone sculptures and plant life of all kinds. It is such a beautiful, serene place that many people have there weddings here. The stone garden is very large and a relaxing place to meditate. Our favorite place in the park is where they kept all the different kinds of bonsai trees. The entire experience was fun, romantic, and relaxing, but most of all, breathtaking.

Quick Tips:

On the way out, don’t miss walking through the museum. It is full of many beautiful Japanese artifacts. They do not allow any kind of photography in this area, but you must not miss it. At lunch time, don’t miss the opportunity to eat at the restaurant near the entrance. Although pricey, it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Best Way To Get Around:

To move around town, you will need a car, but in the park, you will do lots of walking-get yourself a good pair of walking shoes. Slip-ons are recommended, as you will have to take them off at the Japanese house, where you will be provided with paper shoes to walk through the house.
