Four us ate here at the Athenian Inn. My family members ordered fish and chips, Manhattan clam chowder, and French onion soup, and I ordered an oyster omelette. The food was superb! Our waiter was very helpful, and our window was facing stunning scenery. The price was reasonable, the servings ample, and if I lived in Seattle, I would certainly eat here whenever possible.

Museum of Flight

The Museum of Air and Flight is located somewhere near the outskirts of Seattle. I suggest getting there at a reasonable time, with substantial walking shoes on. Entrance into the main area is reasonable and is well worth the fee. Be prepared for hours of meandering while being surrounded by these steel birds of flight. Some acquisitions housed at this museum were the Boeing 80A-1, the Caproni Ca 20, the Boeing 747, and a former Air Force One plane. This trip is good for children, as well as airplane aficionados, for the many stunning airplanes, which are vastly entertaining.

The Space Needle is like the Empire State Building of Seattle. Breathtaking views, a bevy of tourists, an obligatory Starbucks on the top floor, and even lines in the quaint restrooms. Definitely a must-see, if only for the view!
