Food is a necessity in our lives. Eating meals is something we do at least two, three, or more times a day. And when on vacation, trying out the local dishes is an important part of the adventure. Savannah has lots to offer the culinary taste buds. There are delightful tearooms, eclectic pubs, fusion nouveau bistros, low country restaurants, seafood straight from the docks, and much more.

Restaurant | "Soho South Cafe & Bakery"

With the blending of a coffee house, art gallery and tearoom, Soho South Café and Bakery is hip, trendy, and very Savannah. The restaurant opened early in 2004 and has made quite a name for itself already. While waiting for your table, you can browse through an eclectic collection of art or grab a cup of coffee from the coffee bar. Lunch options include quiche of the day, a tuna-and-baby-mixed-green salad, and a meatloaf sandwich, to just name a few. Desserts are all homemade, and the banana pudding is delightful.
