An October 2004 trip to St. George by afinetime
Quote: This resort was overrated compared to other Gold Crown properties. It was an hour from Zion and 2.5 hours from Brice. If these are your target destinations, this resort is too far. I would recommend Worldmark, but be aware that if you're looking for a top-of-the-line resort, as most Gold Crown resorts are, this Worldmark misses the mark!
Overview
There are many good dining options in town, and the casinos at Mesquite are only 30 minutes away. Although St. George is a good-sized city, it lacks a downtown shopping/strolling area -- we missed that.
