This event is nothing like you've ever experienced before. Seasoned travelers like myself go through an almost 24-hour adaption period just trying to take it all in. The best way to get around is by an "Art Car", the only acceptable motorized form of transportation and by far the most fun. Otherwise, a trashable bike is almost necessary for over four square miles of desert.
