Overview

This event is nothing like you've ever experienced before. Seasoned travelers like myself go through an almost 24-hour adaption period just trying to take it all in. It is an amazing combination of a community in the desert without money or sponsorship with art, music, fun, and creative juices to make it a week of inspirational fun.

Quick Tips:

Plan ahead -- read the Survivors Guide on www.burningman.com and be prepared to load your vehicle to the breaking point with water, shade structures, costumes, and food.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get around is by an "Art Car", the only acceptable motorized form of transportation and by far the most fun. Otherwise, a trashable bike is almost necessary for over four square miles of desert.
