This is our relaxing weekend getaway to the country life in San Angelo, Texas captured in our memory books. My wife’s alma matter Angelo State University homecoming reunion gathering turned out to be a very relaxing getaway from the express week in the city.

The best way to start your relaxation is to eat a good homecooked breakfast at Granny's Kitchen, the best way to start any day right. I recommend this establishment.

Fine Dining
This has the best fine Mexican food this side of the Brazos River. This establishment is a busy restuarant, and the food is the reason. There are large portions of great Mexican food and a pleasant atmosphere with a big welcome at the door. The owner stands there with a smile and welcomes you as you enter into the restaurant. It appears the owner has a twin, as he manages to welcome you at the door and check on you at the table to make sure everything is allright. Relaxing!
