What to do in Cologne?
1. Visit the Dom Cathedral
2. Climb the Dom Tower 3. Climb down the Dom Tower:-)
3. Visit the Chocolate Museum
4. Watch the street performers all around the town (espcially behind the museums)
5. walk along the Rhine to the Altstadt
6. Take in a hockey game in the Koln Arena

Quick Tips:

A number of very handy publications are available for travellers in Cologne, from cinema and music guides to general shopping info. The excellent and helpful tourist office will furnish you with all.

Eat pizza slices, shawarmas, and Radler (beer lemonade) on the move and check out happy hours along the main drag.

Best Way To Get Around:

On foot, the only way to see any city, with the exception of Jeddah, KSA. You can, if you're bold, hop the buses, and U- or S-Bahns for free. Don't try this with taxis, the driver might not appreciate it.

This hotel had clean rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent food. Thre was a top-class friendly staff in all areas, and it is centrally located on a quiet street. It is close to nightlife and all main attractions, and is well within a modest traveller's budget.

Restaurant

This place had good Middle Eastern food at good prices. They also serve tasty and cheap pizza, and the friendly, helpful staff was nice - good value for the money. It was a very old-style dining experience.

I hadn't been properly back to Cologne since 1999, and then it was as a boxer and I was with friends. I'd been previously as a teen, but only now, in 2004, could I truly appreciate how wonderful a city it is.
