Away to St. Thomas

A September 2004 trip to St. Thomas by Livinia

Quote: Well my first trip to St. Thomas, I hope the weather would not be bad since I went in middle of hurricane season. But when I arrived there the weather couldn't have been better, since the hurricane just passed there 3 days before I got there.

Away to St. Thomas

Best thing to do is to catch an ferry to St. John, and stay there a couple of hours. Get downtown to eat and to do a little shopping and partying in the evening.

Quick Tips:

Ask the locals who live in St. Thomas what is going on that day, and you will have a lot of good parties to attend that the resort staff might not know about.

Best Way To Get Around:

The only way to get around in St. Thomas is to rent a car or catch an taxi which can be very pricely.

Nice place to stay, the resort didn't have a lot of activities to do on the resort, so you have to get out to do things. There is an small beach area, but really nothing to write about, so you have to go to other beaches to enjoy. But overall, it is a nice place to stay and eat at.
