My mother-in-law needed a ramp to get in the unit. Sedona Pines made one just for our trip. They went above and beyound the call. My mother-in-law loved our trip -- great HIT!!!

Overview

Verde Valley Train Ride. Ride is about four hours long and takes you where no vehicle can get to. Beautiful Trip!! Couch and first class seating. Snakes and drinks in couch and free food in first class. First class is like living room seating. The best way to go is first class. Recommend this train ride to all visitors.

Quick Tips:

Visit during the week to avoid large groups of people. This area is a sight-seeing dream.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking between shops. Public transportation is also a great way to go, and lets not forget the jeep tours. If you want to go off on your own you can even rent your own jeep for about for four hours. Better yet the top of a Hummer.

101 three-egg omelettes. Staff is very good at making sure your drinks are full and the food is to your liking. They have a small gift shop for getting Arizona type gifts. Food was very good. They even make sure you have the jelly flavor you want. They don't hide the strawberry.

Water was chilly and not as populated as I have seen it in past years. This is a natural slide running through Oak Creek Canyon. View is great, looking around the oaks and the red rock. Don't forget to bring your fishing pole because this creek has trout in it.

Schnebly HillBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Schnebley HIll"

This is a great Jeep or high profile vehicle drive. It is approximately a two-hour ride from the bottom of the canyon to the top, which is just outside of Flagstaff. No need for shovels or ropes, this road is maintained by the county so it is graded, however, it is like a washboard so if you're not used to off roading this is not a recommended road to take. This road will have many Indian artifacts along the way up so make sure you watch closely as your driving. Don't forget to get your red rock pass so you can stop and see the sights.

Attraction | "Look Out Point"

You have to go to the airport and see the sights from on top of the mountain. While you're there you can have lunch at the Airport Cafe. The best time to go is at sunset. Perfect for taking pictures of the sky and the moutains with the sun hitting them just right.

Deer FarmBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Grand Canyon Deer Farm
From the time you walk in to the deer area you have a herd of deer looking to see if you’re going to feed them. If you are feeding them, hold on to your cup they will knock it out of your hand. IF your are not feeding them fast enough they will even try to get your attention by nibbling what your wearing. So don't wear white because it won’t be white anymore when you leave. Some of them even know how to untie your shoes. It’s great family fun, better then any petting zoo I have ever been to. Oh yeah, Santa Claus keeps his rain deer there also. A great see right before the holidays. But remember if your going to convince your kids they are Santa’s don't go there the day before Christmas. The deer farm is only closed two days a year Thanks giving and Christmas they do have a disclaimer Weather Permitting, so you might call if it is raining or snowing. They have a web sight also.
