We visit Myrtle Beach at least once a month. We live less than two hours away!

This is the real haven for golfers. There are many, many golf courses to choose from and you can play golf year round. The whole family can enjoy the mini golf courses, too. One of our favorite ones is the Hawaiian themed mini golf course on HWY 17. It actually holds the U.S. mini golf tournaments. Not a fan of golf? What about the beach? The Strip? There are two amusement parks for the families on the strip: Family Kingdom and the Pavilion.

Quick Tips:

Buy the local paper for great deals on golf. Acquire coupon books for deals on dining and shopping. You'll find this at any visitor center in the area.

Best Way To Get Around:

Crabby Mikes

Restaurant

There is usually a long wait for this restaurant, but it is worth it. Try to avoid times between 3-8, the most popular dinner times. I highly recommend this seafood buffet. I believe they have the best crab legs in all the restaurants in MB. They're tasty and clean, unlike other places when they're not even worth trying. They seem to have more varieties of seafood entrees to choose from, like fried oysters, even clean, ready-to-eat raw oysters and fried scallops.
