One cannot miss the camel ride and a visit to El Medina in Sousse. The camel ride is definitely worth doing. The ride takes more than 45 minutes and although the camel is uncomfortable, it is a nice experience. During the ride you are taken to a small shop where you can buy drinks (which you definitely need in the hot weather) and feed the camel. The owner of the camel gave the camel a bottle of coke and it was really funny how the camel drank it in one gulp. They also showed us how they cook the bread in an oven. The hotel is wonderful. There are three swimming pools. We chose half board. We had a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner and the food is great! They have all types of food (e.g. soup, meat, fish, vegetable, fruit, and sweets). The staff is friendly.

The place is wonderful but the drinks are very, very expensive. The disco is open air and makes part of a five star hotel. We were told that this is the best disco in the area. The atmosphere is wonderful and there were some foreign live bands playing that were really good. It's a pity the drinks are so expensive because we could not buy as much as we wished.
