Walt Disney World 2004

The standard garden room was very nice with a view out over the water. We had two queen size beds with a fold down couch. For a family of five we had plenty of room. The bathroom was bigger than expected with a separate room for the toilet and extra sink. This was nice for the mornings we were all trying to be in the bathroom. The only complaint we had was they were doing construction at that time and there was no way to get to the main building without getting wet in the rain. It was a typical Florida summer and rained every afternoon we were there.

We ate at the Chef Mickey character dinner. For us it was more than we could have asked for since we celebrated our kid's birthday there, too. The food was great and there is even a kid's buffet line. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We would definitely dine here again.

This was our favorite meal of the entire trip. We had breakfast with Alice and her friends at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. The characters made us laugh until we could hardly eat. The food was tremendous. My kid's favorite was the Mickey waffles. There was an omlette bar but we played too long with the characters to enjoy that.
