Today I'd like to take you along on a day trip approximately 200 miles north of my home in Fort Lauderdale to Kennedy Space Center, in Cape Canaveral, Florida, for a trip to explore our past, present and future in space travel. We took our first SWAMP trip! To the Everglades Swamp here in Florida. It is a habitat for all kinds of wonderful wildlife like, Florida cougars, alligators, panthers, razorback hogs, deer and many, many species of reptiles, fish and insects. We began our trip driving halfway across the state, directly west of Fort Lauderdale. You drive up and arrive at an authentic Seminole Indian reservation (the first settlers of Florida) called The Big Cypress Reservation.
