Celebrity Resorts in Brigantine, NJ

An August 2004 trip to Brigantine by Patty Powers

The "hotel" was old and outdated, and somewhat musty with a filthy couch. The staff was not particularly accommodating or friendly. Worst of all, they allowed smoking on the premises. Yuck! Positives are fantastic location (directly on beach), pool was okay, and Brigantine is very nice and quiet.

Beach, biking, ice cream, relaxing, dining, casinos if you want in nearby Atlantic City.

Quick Tips:

The AC Boardwalk is terrible. Go to Smithville, and StoryBook Land if you have kids. Staying local is relaxing.

Best Way To Get Around:

car, walking, bikes

Not very nice. They allowed smoking, which was not family friendly. Old-timers there think they own the place. Place needs major care and updating. Location is awesome, though - right on the beach.

A fun, relaxing place that has awesome food. Great atmosphere for both families or couples. Bring your own bottle. They also have Italian cuisine and kids dishes with crayons and coloring books.
