Overview

My boyfriend and I stayed at BAY COTTAGES when we went to Kaikoura in January 2004. We spent 3 weeks in NZ and this place definitely was the loveliest as well as "best value" -place of all we stayed at! Clean, well kept, high standard and with a very hospital treatment. Greame, who owns and runs the place with his wife, even took us crayfishing one morning, and served us the crayfish for breakfast afterwards! Not at all expecting us to pay for it! Hotel

Clean, high standard, lovely hospitality, great value. You have your own cottage and Graeme, who runs the place with his wife, lets you use the laundry for free, and might even take you out crayfishing and treat you with crayfish for breakfast. Even that for free!!! Best place we stayed at in NZ! When going to Kaikoura, do not consider any other place! This must be the best! Or at least best value-deal! And one of the best when it comes to hospitality!
