Quote: Vegas, Baby, Vegas! Grab your girls, or boys, or both, and get there! We have flown, we have driven, we have begged to get there. Vegas has pull for the fun it promises, the secrets it keeps and the money worth losing.

You are so money and you don't even know it!

Overview

Quote:
Vegas holds so many memorable moments for me, it's hard to list them, especially in a cohesive overview. But I'll give it a whirl. Obviously, the most sought-after activity in Vegas is the gambling. And it's good, highly addictive but good. Try the Sahara for cheap tables and jolly dealers. Champagne was our drink of choice, and unlike many other casinos, the cocktail waitresses were abundant and brought us more than a few rounds on the house while we played blackjack. If you love dancing, like me, you will want to hit up the clubs. The Beach is always free for the ladies and always full of fun. Try Ra at the Luxor as well. Sunbathe at the pool at Mandalay if you can sneak you...Read More

Tuscany Suites and Casino

Hotel | "The Tuscany"

Quote:
The Tuscany Suites are located about a block off of the strip. This hotel is a large gathering of tastefully appointed suite style rooms, all equipped with a sitting area, a desk, a dining table and a small kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. The rooms are very large and the bathrooms are huge. We stayed four to a room, and not once felt cramped. There is a small pool, that while not fancy like the other hotels, is nice and quiet, and a welcome respite from all the Vegas hustle and bustle only a block away. There is a casino within the hotel and a great buffet breakfast. When folks go to Vegas, they really feel the need to stay on the strip. After having stayed at The Tuscany, I wouldn't ...Read More

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Hotel | "Excalibur"

Quote:
Ridiculous. That is probably the best way I can describe Excalibur. Kids will enjoy, but parents will cringe for the most part. The garish details of the hotel are right out of "The Knights of the Round Table" and are played out in bright oranges and purples. The rooms start at about $120, depending on the night of the week and the time of year. Vegas is famous for fluctuating room prices. One night, it might be $85, and another it can sky rocket to $250. The rooms are relatively tiny and hideously decorated. While we were there, our shower drain started to spew black gunk, and maintenance never came to fix it, even after five complaints. Very annoying. The pool a...Read More

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Best Of IgoUgo

Restaurant

Eiffel Tower Restaurant Photo, Las Vegas, Nevada
Quote:
The Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas is a real treat, and almost beats the real thing is Paris (well... almost). Housed high up within the Paris Hotel and Casino's own mini Eiffel Tower, this restaurant boasts one of the best views in Vegas. The restaurant is accessed through a private elevator within the casino, guarded by large bodyguards, which gives you the feeling that something very special awaits you. When the elevator doors open, you are transported into luxury. The dark dining area is a series of banquets and beautifully appointed tables. The lighting is low, with soft shadows and candles everywhere. We had a reservation but were a bit early, so we started at the b...Read More

Sahara Hotel and Casino

Attraction | "BJ at the Sahara"

Quote:
The Sahara is one of the older casinos, at the end of the strip next to the newer Stratosphere. The Sahara has the old Vegas charm still, and is my favorite place to gamble. Since my girlfriends and I aren't big-time rollers, we stick to the $1 blackjack tables at the Sahara. We sip our champagne, have fun with the dealers, and sometimes even win. Yes, it is possible to win a nice amount at a one-dollar table. There are also "No Bust" tables at the Sahara that are the bumper bowling of blackjack. Those tables are always full, so you will have to wait. Open, like everywhere, all night, we've gone there after dancing at 5AM. Lots of fun, easy to learn, and without all the pressure of losing mone...Read More

The Beach

Attraction

Quote:
The Beach is exactly what you would expect of a nightclub called The Beach. Scantily clad men and women adorn the bar, spraying whipped cream on themselves, and if you pay $10 you can lick it off.

The two-tiered bar is always bumping with loud music, raucous people and dancing fools. It's great. What makes it better is that ladies get in free. Covers in Vegas can be outrageous, so a free entry is welcome to us penny-pinching women.

If you love to dance, and don't even care, go to the Beach.

This club closes at about 5AM, and is usually fun until about 3AM. Have a good time!

Baby's

Attraction

Quote:
Baby's is where the hip come to be hippest. It's within the Hardrock Casino, which has become known for its hard, young vibe and the celebs that roll through. Baby's is a multi-leveled, packed-to-the-brim, banging dance club. Make sure you arrive early or you will be stuck in line, or turned away, as they often reach capacity by 1AM. Drinks are brutally expensive inside, so play a few rounds of blackjack and earn yourself a few free cocktails on the house. The VIP Lounge within Baby's is a see and be seen kinda place. Fun to sit in if you like to feel fabulous, but not as much fun as the crowded dance floor. The bar in the middle of the HR Casino is a good backup plan. If you get turned a...Read More

RA Nightclub

Attraction

Quote:
Rah is a decadent nightclub housed within the Luxor Pyramid. It is dark, steamy and incredibly sexy. The music pounds relentlessly against the club walls, and beckons you do dance your arse off until 5AM, or later if you so desire. The stage is towards the front of the club, complete with go-go dancers and a DJ spinning recognizable house, hip-hop and Latin fusion. If you need to sit down, make your way into the roped-off VIP section. The bouncers are usually quite friendly with the ladies, and sit on the plush banquettes or within the rounded booths. Slightly raised above the dance floor, this is a good lookout for friends, cute boys or girls and general feet resting. Rah is always crowded ...Read More

Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium

Attraction | "Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay"

Quote:
The Shark Reef is a great exhibit. It is a wildlife adventure housed within Mandalay Bay. Amongst insects, birds, snakes and sharks you will find yourself having a great time, and almost forget you are in Vegas. A great place to bring kids, and a good way to get them out of the smoke-filled casinos for a little education and some real shark-y fun!

Manhattan Express Roller Coaster

Attraction | "Manhattan Express ride at NY, NY"

Quote:
The ride is short and fun, twisting you through part of the hotel and the fake New York skyline outside. All in all, it is a waste of money and time. Better coasters are at the Stratosphere if you are into thrill rides.
