Resort Experience:Unlike many of the other resorts in Sedona, Los Abrigados has been around for quite a while and has well established landscaping that adds much to the atmosphere. The two story Spanish architecture buildings that weave through the property along with fountains, ponds, sculptures provide beautiful and relaxing scenery. The red rocks in Sedona add to the impressive views. The many restaurants on site, great property, nearby Tlaquepaque, the wonderful spa and expansive front lobby a...Read More

Self-guided tour available in this museum located in an old apple orchard. Antiques, pictures, articles, and other information provides a picture of what it was like to be a pioneer in Sedona. Interesting afternoon.

Shakespeare Sedona

Annual Shakespeare Sedona. This year ran from July 1- 16th. Performances under the stars at Tlaquepaque after the shops have all closed. We were not sure if we would enjoy a local production but it was great. We saw the two plays - Cardenio and Taming of the Shrew and enjoyed them both.

Seats are plastic lawn chairs and you need to make sure you get a seat up front or the back row which is raised! There is not too much to do in Sedona at night so this was wonderful!

Red Rock Crossing/Crescent Moon Ranch Picnic Area

Attraction | "Red Rock Crossing"

Quote:
Best way to see the famous view of Cathedral Rock. Pay the $5 parking fee, follow the path to the creek and enjoy the view. The rocks are slippery and the water is cold. I like to have a seat and dangle my feet in the water in the summer and enjoy the scenery. Many kids and adults like to slide on the rocks and swim in the creek. We have been to this site in all seasons and always find it peaceful.
