Around 9:30 or a quarter till 10, head up towards the Rawhide steakhouse and pull off of the street to watch the fireworks - not only do you have a front row seat, but you are literally right across from the cannons as they are fired. Watching the picture-perfect night desert storms off in the distance is more brilliant than seeing the photo in a Life magazine. Visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin School and the Public Library for awesome displays of architectural talents.

Superstores and Wholesale clubs are within minutes of the resort - concierge has list with everything and places of interest. You won't have to go far at all; the resort is not only next door to a top golf course, but in a choice location of all shops and entertainment.

Best Way To Get Around:

Because of its location off of the main thoroughfare, it is advisable to drive.

Kierland Plaza, Rawhide Steakhouse and Fairgrounds, Phoenix101- shopping mall and movie Theatre.

Best Things About the Resort:
Endless daily activities, and shopping trips to the area malls with other guests was a great way to interact... even when you probably didn't want to.

Resort Experience:
The best thing is that it didn't feel like you were in an unfamiliar place at all! The atmosphere of the rooms was so inviting that it was easy to get settled in pretty quickly.

The whirlpool in the main bedroom was the real highlight. To go straight from your bed to the bubblies was awesome. Even the standard smaller room’s bath had built-in jets. We had a two-bedroom unit where two rooms were adjoined by the pass-through door; so not only was having a full kitchen cool enough, but having a kitchenette as well made things even better.

Awesome, breathtaking, overwhelming, massive, majestic, beautiful... everything and more one could ever dream of seeing. Before you leave this world, this is the sight to behold!! It really gives you scope to the reality of how big our planet really is, our part in it, and how we all must uncompromisingly save sites such as this for all generations to come. And the squirrels are very upfront and in your face... literally, about you sharing your food with them.
