Snorkeling off the coast of Belize is breathtaking. Swim with nurse sharks, stingrays, and many types of tropical fish. Interact with sea life and marvel at this natural creation. This experience is like no other. The water is clear, and the coral is beautiful. Adults as well as children can enjoy this experience, but I suggest the adults snorkel while the children play in the sand.

Salty Dog Gift Shop does not sound like the place to buy gifts for your family, but it is. At Salty Dog Gift Shop, they sell the same souvenirs everyone else sells, but their prices are more agreeable. It is family owned, so it has a nice atmosphere. It is even more enjoyable because it has air conditioning, which may not be an un-average thing for many, but once you've been out in the Belizean heat you will enjoy this accommodation.

Belizean Art has a variety of art made by Belizean natives, including paintings, wooden carvings, masks, rugs, furniture, and jewelry. All reasonably priced. The workers are very kind, even when you think you broke something (sorry). The jewelry found here is priced lower than other shops. And if you find it too expensive, they do have smaller items that may be in the price range of one who is on a budget.
