Montego Bay Journals

A February 2004 trip to Montego Bay by Gibbs736

Quote: Jamaica boasts a strong personality backed by rich cultural heritage and natural attributes like beaches and lush mountains. Don’t forget the reggae music and the food--ackee and saltfish, fresh coconut water right on the beach, and luscious mangos, rice, peas, and stewed chicken... simply divine.

Ok, so I love being in the buff, or not.

This resort is simply not for the pure at heart. I have visited this resort more than 10 times. Each stay is ever so different. Paradise.

Runaway Bay, Jamaica

Pelican Grill

The restaurant serves Jamaican/local cuisine with true Jamaican hospitality. The menu even had a items of influences of other countries. My favorite was the Chop Suey Jamaican style.

There was hardly any wait time, and the workers were always smiling. Jamaica? No problem, mon.
