I visited Big Sky for a family wedding and stayed in the Powder Ridge Cabins and Rainbow Ranch Lodge. The rehearsal dinner was at the Gallatin Gateway Inn. The ceremony was in a quaint church called Soldier's Chapel. If you ever go to Big Sky, MT - all of these places are highly recommended!!

Visit www.rainbowranch.com lodge for pictures - really is a beautiful place to stay - right along the Gallatin River. Has a beach volleyball court, outdoor fireplace and hot tub. Many of the rooms have two double beds separated with a door - but there are some private rooms too.

Horseback Riding
When we arrived at Big Sky Stables, the staff was very welcoming. We had a group of 10 so we made sure to call in advance for reservations - actually, reservations are recommended. We took a 2-hour horseback ride, which was the perfect amount of time - the views were gorgeous and we even got to trot a little bit on our horses. But the guide made sure we were all comfortable before trotting with the horse.
