Trip to Chicago

Overview

Carriage Photo, Chicago, Illinois
Quote:
We live only 4 hours from Chicago, so we have the opportunity to go there often. We had a great time seeing the sights, such as the John Hancock building, Navy Pier, the Water Tower, and the aquarium.

Quick Tips:

If you've never been to Chicago, try taking a tour (or 2!). It's a great way to get an overview of the city.

Best Way To Get Around:

I recommend parking your car and leaving it there all trip. You can take the free trolley or a taxi if you need to go anywhere.

The Hampton Inn was fabulous! The rooms are spacious and comforting, and at a good rate. The Hampton is located right in the prime location of the city, with easy access to everything. The free breakfast was amazing, as they had fruit, toast, cereal, eggs, sausage, and juice. All of it was of excellent quality. The pool and exercise room was also nice. I would stay here again.

Seeing the John Hancock Tower was great. Once you get there, you ride up a very fast elevator to get the observatory. From the observatory, you can see the whole city. They also have tons of displays with historical information.
