Greensprings Plantation

A July 2004 trip to Williamsburg by palmtre2

Quote: Love this resort, we have been four times in 6 years. It's close to everything history, museums, golf, shopping and amusement parks. There was something for everyone in the three generations we took. Roomy, decorated nicely, lovely views, great pools, nice staff and we'd be back even if we weren't buying!!!

Greensprings Plantation

Overview

Quote:
Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg ghost tour, Water Country and Busch Gardens, art galleries at William and Mary College.

Quick Tips:

The streets do roll up a bit early during the week - but the College Deli (Virginia's best sandwiches) is open very late.

Best Way To Get Around:

The master bedrooms are large as is the KING size bed, the master bath has a stall shower and corner jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom had two twin beds and was perfect for the kids. Kitchens have everything you need. The views of the woods or golf course are great. Indoor/outdoor pools were nice. Friendly staff.

Don't forget the local winery, it's a great way to spend an afternoon. Lunch was wonderful. Their white wines are very good. I hear they are trying to open a B&B.
