Fiesta Cancun

A July 2004 trip to Cancun by pammyomurphy

Quote: A wonderful getaway to a small resort by Cancun standards. Lovely and gracious and great location were all BEST parts of the resort.

Best Things Nearby:Lots of restaurants, flea market, mall shops, discos, beachBest Things About the Resort:The pool is wonderful! There is a very convenient walk-in ledge that is great to lay on, and be in the water to stay cool. Lots of shade is available to escape the sun also.Resort Experience:The Fiesta Americana Cancun is a small resort, but very clean and just lovely. The staff are warm and friendly and not at all pushy. The beach is very small, but you can walk a short distance to larger sandy areas. This is not on the strong surf side of the hotel zone either. We are a family with 3 children, ages 8, 10 and 12. The kids love the Rainforest Cafe in Cancun. We have to go back every year we visit there. They have lots of free entertainment as you dine, including an awesome clown that visits tables and makes balloon characters for all the kids. (He accepts tips, of course.) The food is good and you have all the standard choices from hamburgers, chicken strips to salads.
