Finding Florida

A December 2003 trip to Palm Coast by kmmstutts

The children loved feeding the giant carp and catfish in the pond/stream the encompassed the entire property. In the evenings we spent time in the gigantic heated waterfall pool or in our oversized sauna tub in our room. What a peaceful place to be!

Best Things Nearby:
The Palm Coast beaches are less than 10 minutes away

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort staff were extremely courteous and kind.

Resort Experience:
The resort is lovely. A river circles the interior of the resort. There are multiple ponds with cascading waterfalls within the river. The staff will provide fish food by the cups full to feed the huge carp and catfish within the pond.

There are multiple on site amenities to keep you busy. Some of them include shuffle board, putt-putt (the course needs to be resurfaced), tennis, ping-pong, swimming, pool, biking and volleyball. Should you choose to leave the resort you will find the town of Palm Coast is very quiet and relaxed. The beaches are not overpopulated and noise is never an issue.

As you enter the park you are surronded by a mock jungle. There are all types of creatures including exotic monkeys, tropical birds and of course REPTILES! The facility is vary large and you should expect to spend a minimum of one hour to circle the complete park. Of course, add time if you plan on stopping and looking at the exhibits.
