Week at Summer Bay

A June 2004 trip to Orlando by ETWms

We took our first Disney World vacation and stayed at the Summerbay Resort in Kissimmee. I can't say enough good things about the resort. They had everything, activities, amenities, space, luxury, privacy...everything for a family!

Centered around family fun with loads of activities and accommodations.

Resort Experience:
It is a beautiful resort! More than enough room for everything, four pools each, including an area for children. Very nice playground waterpark, beach, clubhouse, children activities and daycare, everything you need when traveling with kids!

Restaurant | "Crystal Palace (character lunch and dinner)"

We enjoyed our afternoon lunch buffet at the Crystal Palace. The children especially enjoyed the way each of the characters would come over to the table and spend a few minutes with them. They signed autographs, took pictures and joked with them. The food was pretty good too!

We really enjoyed seeing all of the shows, and all of the characters came out at once for autographs. The kids enjoyed every minute of it.

Attraction | "BET SoundStage"

The music was excellent and it wasn't overly crowded, me and my husband had a nice night without the kids. The next time we go to Orlando, we will definitely visit Pleasure Island again.
