Ski Gull

If you are looking for a small ski slope that's cheap and easy, Ski Gull is perfect. It is a family-run ski resort just off Route 6 - very easy to find. It was about a 10 minute drive from our resort, Causeway on Gull.

It has 13 runs and a bunny hill that goes right down to the chalet. It's a great place for families with kids who need instruction. The instructors were very helpful. The slopes aren't demanding, but they are perfect for beginners and those of us who used to remember how to ski.

The staff at the chalet are busy, but friendly. The food is quick, filling and reasonably priced.

On of the nation's largest retail malls, it is complete with an amusement park in the lower level center stage - called Camp Snoopy. It's a 3-hour drive from our resort at Nisswa, but well worth it.

There is a Lego Imagination Center, an underwater acquarium, a nightclub, and even bowling. Parking is abundant, but don't forget where you parked or you'll be searching the lots for weeks.
Be sure to check out the wristbands at Camp Snoopy. Good for unlimited rides for the day, it is well worth the investment. We bought a birthday package for my son and celebrated his birthday riding the rides.
