A July 1985 trip to Peshawar by Bill Johnson

This is the tale of my first trip out of the US in 1980. The soviets had invaded Afghanistan in December 1979, and I flew to Pakistan in July, 1980. I went by bus from Peshawar, Pakistan, through the Khyber pass to Kabul, Afghanistan.
