Ramada Coral Inn Resort

Hotel | "Ramada Coral Resort"

Quote:
This hotel was very nice with indoor/outdoor swimming pools, good service, home-cooking restaurant in the lobby and nice personnel. The hotel was not in the middle of the tourism and commotion, but a little off the mainstream, which I loved. It's located across the street from an Outlet Shopping Mall and within 10 minutes of the falls and all the attractions.

Simply AMAZING! The skylon is a tower that overlooks the falls and the top rotates to give you every possible view of the falls. The food was spectacular to match the view. A great dining experience! We actually got a $100 voucher at this restaurant for taking a timeshare tour. So, for us it was definitely worth it! Go for the restaurant, not the timeshare tour...

Canada One Factory Outlets

Attraction | "Outlet shopping"

Quote:
Outlet shopping can be a crapshoot, but this was a sure bet! I've been to hundreds of outlet stores and most times found myself disappointed with the average prices for average merchandise. Well, this was different! Being in Canada, I found in the Outlet Mall right across the street from our hotel was a store for Roots clothing (they outfit the US and Canadian winter olympic teams). This was a fun time looking through unique, yet functional winter clothing for literally everyone in the family. Styles resemble that of the Gap or Old Navy, but with a little more flair.

Niagara Falls is full of walking and active attractions, different ways to view the falls, and some wild adventures. But, this one was different. The butterfly conservatory was calm, scerene, and majestic. The wonder and amazement on my daughter was totally priceless. I actually got a photograph of her little hand touching the wing of a butterfly. This place was a nice change of pace.

This is one amazing tour! Get ready to get wet and have a great time!

We toured the falls in every way possible, from the Canada side, the New York side, Behind the falls, illuminated at night... you name it, we did it. And, of all these tours, The Maid of the Mist outdid them all. You are literally right in the middle of the falls and it's a blast! If you are the type of person that is not much for adventure or you dont want to get your hair wet, this would not be the ride for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend this tour for a boat ride of a lifetime! Yeow!

Viewing the falls from above doesn't compare to the thunder and excitement of being behind the falls! This tour first takes you beside the falls to watch the waters fall within feet from your eyes. Then you tour behind the falls to see it from portals and cubbys within a cave-like structure. It is wet and damp, so good shoes are a must! They even provide you with cute little rain jackets!

Attraction | "The Falls Illuminated at Night"

Quote:
This was a spectacular way to view the falls! The show started at dark. The falls were light up from behind with beautiful lights that danced to music. Find your viewing spot early, this is an event that draws a major crowd. Either it's because it's free or because it's one awesome show!

Whirlpool Rapids

Attraction

Honestly, this tour came with our packet of tickets that we'd received as part of a package deal. We didn't expect much from this tour, but were pleasantly surprised! It was really a pretty sight and the rapids were amazing to watch. It is a bit of a hike, so be prepared with good sturdy shoes, the path can get a bit wet and slick along the waters.
