Winter Getaway

We stayed in a hotel unit with 2 double beds. The resort was all-inclusive so we did not need kitchen facilities. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Air conditioning, Satelite TV, patio with chairs & table, and a room safe. This resort was newly renovated, so everything was in A-1 condition. Housekeeping did a great job every morning and evening...and were very accommodating.

Occidental First Club

Resort Experience:
Very nice resort...plenty to do during the day.

The staff was very accommodating. I took out a Hobie Cat sailing several times. This gave me an opportunity to see more of the surrounding beaches as well as a view of other resorts in the area. Snorkeling nearby...very fun. The resort also had the Occidental First Club. Ther was a private club with private pool and bar...with top shelf drinks. This was for Occidental timeshare owners. They also had free Internet access in the club.

We took a tour of the surrounding areas. Punta Cana Runners took us on our private tour of the forests....mountains...sugar cane plantations...and beaches...all in a day!!It was a great opportunity to see the surrounding areas and local culture.
