Best Things About the Resort:
This resort is right on the beach. It boasts, to date, two large swimming pools, and an outside grill and bar. The landscaping is lovely and well tended.
Resort Experience:
Ocean Pointe has four buildings and is soon to add a fifth. Between the first two buildings is a large winding pool with cabanas set up around it incase the sun is too hot or you prefer shade. The pool bar and grill is located in this vicinity. So it is quite noisy and very active with children. But have no fear, go a little further between the second and third building and there is another pool that is much quieter and caters to adults. It is here they offer the morning water aerobics.
Between the property and the beach are large swinging chairs, wonderful to curl up in with a book and to enjoy the sound of the surf.
The beach is lovely with rental cabanas available but people who go often bring their chairs and umbrellas with them.
The units are large and sleep eight. The main side of the unit has a king bed and a pull out couch, full kitchen, living room and dining area. The bathroom sports a shower as well as a Jacuzzi and sinks in two areas.
The lockoff side of the unit has a king bed and pull out couch, mini kitchen and bathroom. Both sides have a balcony that overlooks the ocean. It is beautifully decorated and maintained.
