Best Things Nearby:
This resort is right on the beach and across from the Lagoon. You can watch all the boats go by. It is close to downtown, where you will find the mercato, and it is a bus trip away from shopping, dining, and nightlife.
Best Things About the Resort:
The water is calm and you can swim in the water. At other resorts the water tends to be more choppy. You can get a massage on the beach and they have little huts and beach chairs that make it very comfortable. There are a few peddlers, but they do not bother you. The staff is extremely friendly and this place is clean, clean, clean! They are constantly cleaning. The activities staff is very helpful and keeps the music playing all day. There are 3 restaurants and I preferred the food at the outdoor covered cabana. Breakfast was great and just what you needed after a long night of dancing. Also, take the banana boat ride! You get a great view of the bay and hotel strip.
Resort Experience:
You feel like you have entered paradise. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Also, the Oasis chain of hotels have four other properities in Cancun. If you stay at one, you can visit the others. I recommend going to the Oasis Playa - it was just as beautiful and there is more to do on their beach. You can parasail and rent sea-doo's.
