Two out of our three meals were good. The fish was excellent and the pheasant was good, though maybe just a little overcooked. My wife's steak dinner was chewy and she did not feel the steak was worth $24.95. She didn't finish the meal. My mother loved the beer battered fish.
The beer selection was excellent, but the beers were a little overpriced. Call it the ambience price. The restaurant features some well-known British ales, as well as some lesser known British ales. They also have an excellent U.S. micro-brew selection.
The atmosphere is very British and there are pictures of the royal family on the walls. I enjoyed the atmosphere. If only my wife's steak had been fork-cutting tender. . .
