Relaxing in Maine

A May 2004 trip to Bethel by jerryv

Quote: We stayed at the Bethel Inn. Although the weather wasn't great, we were able to enjoy the heated outdoor pool. It's a lovely Victorian timeshare in a quaint New England town.

Relaxing in Maine Best of IgoUgo

Overview

Quote:
This resort has a top-notch golf course! The outdoor pool was used each day even though the temperature averaged 48 degrees each day. We had a very relaxing time.

Quick Tips:

We took advantage of the special offer eating at the Inn. The food was excellent. Local restaurants offer a wonderful variety of food and price range. We hoped to see a moose, but had no such luck. I guess you need to search them out at dawn or dusk.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get around town is by walking if you're full of energy or by car. There is an adequate food store in town. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

This place was very comfortable and clean, and we lacked nothing. We had a two-bedroom timeshare with a fireplace in the large living room. The full kitchen/dining area was more than adequate.
