The rooms here were very clean and had been redone. We had a room with two doubles, a balcony with partial view, and a bathroom. It was perfect. They had a nice pool with a tiki bar and a boardwalk to the beach. They also had two restaurants on site that were very affordable.

This place was so luxurious. When we checked in, our room had everything you could imagine, from the down comforter, to the jumbo pillows, to the gourmet coffee -- it was great.

They have a roof-top pool, several restaurants, an indoor pool, a gift shop, and a workout area with great machines. It is also right in the middle of town, so you can walk to all of the main attractions.

Best Things Nearby:
This place is only four miles from the Magic Kingdom and Universal.

Best Things About the Resort:
Everything is there: restaurants, pools, playgrounds, fishing, waterskiing, jetskiing, arcade, shopping, "beach", bars, movie theater. . . you name it, they have it.

Resort Experience:
This place was so much fun. It was like living in a magazine. The new part we stayed in was so nice. It had a Jacuzzi bath and even a screened-in porch. We could see the Disney fireworks at night. They had all kinds of live music, entertainment, and would bend over backwards to do anything to make you happy. Their pools kept our kids’ attention the whole time. They are like a water park right on site. Splash Lagoon is the best. They even had a Polynesian luau on Thursday night with an authentic buffet.

Jimmy Buffett's MargaritavilleBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville Orlando"

We had a blast here! They have local entertainment every night and the food is so good. You can have your cheeseburger in paradise or if you are a vegetarian like me, you can have your veggie burger in paradise here. They have a bar area with immediate seating if you go in the busy part of the day and they also have a tiki-style bar outside where you can sit under Jimmy's sea plane.

They also have a great little store attached to the restaurant so you can pick up a shirt or souvenir as you leave. They had some really neat stuff!

Restaurant

This is a super-good place to eat. My husband loved the BBQ and we even bought some of the sauce to take home. The peach cobbler is a must!!!

St. Augustine Beach (General)Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Swimming and fishing"

The beach here is really nice. The sand is not like most on the Atlantic; it is very white, soft, and powdery. When we were there, the water was very clean and the waves were not too big. There are lots of restaurants around the area, and neat places to shop.

Walt Disney World Resort: Magic KingdomBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Magic Kingdom"

It was very crowded because school had just gotten out for the summer. I would recommend the fall for this place when school is in. We had a ball though. We just tried to be patient and make it through the day. We averaged about an hour per ride.

We did use their FastPass system and it was very useful. We could get a FastPass for a ride, go eat and ride something else, and then we could just walk right on. I would definitely look at their schedule and go on the day that they are open the longest so you can get your money's worth. The kids’ faces are priceless when they see that castle and get to get all of the autographs.
