A Great Florida Beach

A May 2004 trip to St. Pete Beach by Linda C. Ashby

Quote: The Breckinridge resort at Tradewinds in sunny St Petersburg Beach, FL was definitely a repeat trip!. This resort has five restaurants and four pools. There are multiple beach activities, including snorkeling, parasailing, bike trikes, and paddle boats that go right thru the hotel lobby area! The white sand beaches are great!

We drove about 20 minutes down Gulf Boulevard to dine at this fabulous spot. The main restaurant feature is a wood-burning grill that heats to 1200 degrees.

The steaks are sizzling hot and juicy! Seafood is abundant and delicious. I had tuna sashimi with wasabi and pickled ginger as an appetizer. Save room for the great desserts, too-- the Key lime pie with Oreo crust is wonderful.

The master Italian artist has a glassworks display that is awesome! Take a camera; pictures are allowed as long as there is no flash! This exhibit is well worth the short 20-minute drive!
