For a little city, there is more than enough to keep you entranced for a few days and then there are the fjord trips to add on! Wander around Bryggens with its beautiful medieval buildings (the museum is worth a visit) and visit the art galleries from across the lake (with a great collection of Munch paintings as well as other famous painters). Not to be missed is a fjord trip, nature at its best (Norway in a Nutshell gives you a good flavour), and branch out from there.Quick Tips: Alcohol is horrendously expensive, so savour each glass, or buy it in the supermarket!
