Attraction

The ski conditions were fantastic with great vertical and fast lifts. On a crisp sunny day, the runs are like heaven on earth. When it's foggy, come down early!!!

Attraction

This is a rail fan's delight, with the mainline just yards from the inn's dining room. It's a great place to step back to a simpler time and have brunch. Try the huckleberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. . . mmm mmm mmm.

Also, there are small caboose cabins to spend a few days and many a Nordic ski trail.

Bar OpenBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Head into town off the main highway. Across from the substantial post office is a little place we call "BAR OPEN". At least, that's what the sign said. I think its really called South Fork Bar!!!

The bar is ancient and traditional, the conversation local. There's music, both kinds, country and western. My best memory is the book borrower's shelf behind the end of the bar. Bring in a paperback and borrow another left by someone else. What a great bar.
