Overview

The ATV tours to the old lighthouse are a must for anyone looking for adventure. It is fun even if you have never been on an ATV before. If you want to get some exercise, rent a sea kayak and paddle out to El Arco during low tide.

Quick Tips:

Rent a car. Todos Santos is a couple of hours away and worth the trip if you like art. It is the home of the real Hotel Califonia.

Best Way To Get Around:

Rental cars are best, but when you get into town in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo, you can walk just about everywhere.

Resort Experience:
The staff at Fiesta Americana is friendly and helpful at all times. We sat through their timeshare presentation and they never seemed pushy. They also gave us free breakfast and discounts for everything we wanted to do on our trip. The resort itself is beautiful, and sits right on the side of a hill. It is very spread out, though, so plan on walking or taking the golf cart shuttles. The restaurants on site are a little pricy, but serve excellent food. They had a fiesta night one evening with all you could eat that was very reasonable, and the food was some of the best I have had anywhere.

Taco LocoBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant

These are true Mexican tacos. They are cheap and very tasty with plenty of choices, from beef to fish, and lots of toppings you can add yourself. They are only about a buck apiece, so you can really fill up without spending your whole budget.

SnorkelingBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Snorkeling in Cabo is amazing. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom even in 20 or more feet of water. There are tours for all skill levels of snorkelers or scuba divers. We saw thousands of fish, including sting rays and eels, just in the bay near the marina. It is a great inexpensive way to spend a couple of hours.
