We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. I didn't know what to expect, but to coin a phrase--it was worth every penny. The Condo we stayed was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and courteous and had a separate room where the guests coul purchase local entertainment tickets to shows and attractions.

Superb! The whirlpool in our bathroom was huge! The dining table was all prepared when we checked-in -- very classy looking.

The gal who manages the resort had a meeting with RCI guests and discussed activities available throughout the week. She even managed to have a local singer who does a show in the evenings give us a sample of her music -- we were thoroughly impressed. They even gave us a one-hour complimentary pontoon to take out on the lake.

Our one-bedroom was on the second floor. The structure, but not the inside of the room, reminded me of a motel. The entrance to the room began in the living room. It had a large TV on one wall, a chair and ottoman, a sleeper/sofa, coffee table, and an end table with a lamp. The kitchen was right next to it and could be seen from the doorway; it was a full kitchen, and the staff had set the dining table with all the tableware. It looked fabulous. They had mirrors all down one side of the kitchen, and my kids loved looking at themselves during those nights we ate in. Off the living room were the entrance to the bedroom and the bathroom. You could also get to the bathroom by a separate door in the bedroom. There was a king-size bed, a large dresser with TV, and a bedside table. The bathroom was huge. It had a large Jacuzzi that the kids enjoyed.

The resort had an outdoor pool, but it had recently been painted and was not filled during our stay. They did have an indoor recreation hall that was a short walking distance behind the building and housed a large pool, a small hot tub, and a kiddie pool. Past the pool were the bathrooms and a workout facility. This facility was of no charge to the guests. Firemen with their trucks came one day during our stay so they could use the facility, and our kids enjoyed an up-close and personal look at the fire trucks. The resort had an orientation for all guests the evening we arrived and gave us some tips and pointers on getting around Branson. They had two mixers, game night, a free ladies' facial (a Mary Kay rep came), and other activities that you could participate in while there at the resort. However, there was way too much to do and see for us to spend time at the resort. The resort did give us a complimentary 2-hour pontoon boat ride. We packed a cooler, they gave us a map, and we were able to see the Dam built that generated the electricity for the city. At one point, we were going around in circles, but eventually we were able to find our way back after first filling up the gas tank (which was a requirement) at a local gas station on the river. The resort did require a deposit, but we got it back after we checked out. We would recommend going back.

This place is clean and well laid out. There's something for everyone. Don't miss this opportunity to go. We took in a few of the shows offered and ate at an all-you-can-eat buffet that was out of this world.

This show was very family oriented. He even did a 3-D portion that my kids loved! I thought it was pretty cool, too. I remember watching his variety show on TV as a young girl and he was still the same funny man today. His son and daughter are in the show playing instruments and they are excellent. It's wholesome entertainment.

Oak Ridge Boys

Activity

I loved the Oak Ridge Boys growing up and the music was all the old familiar songs with a few new ones mixed in. Although the Oak Ridge Boys have a little more gray in their hair, they still sound the same.

My girls, unfortunately, fell asleep during the performance, so I would recommend taking along light jackets or blankies for small children because the theatre was on the cool side--or maybe it was just me.
